LEP1 Customs Frequently Asked Questions

We're here to help. Below are straight answers to the questions we get most about our DIY arcade cabinet kits and dollhouse kits. If yours isn't here, email sales@lep1customs.com — that's the fastest way to reach us.

Who is LEP1 Customs?

LEP1 Customs is a family owned and operated custom design shop in Hattiesburg, MS. Read our story here: https://store.lep1customs.com/pages/about-lep1-customs

Where are the assembly instructions?

On the outside of the box you receive. Every kit ships with a large ~4"×6" sticker on the box that has a QR code labeled "Download Assembly Instructions Here." Scan that code before you open the panels — that is the official guide for your kit.

The guides include images of the cabinets and numbered steps broken down by kit numbers. Please follow the numbered steps, not just the pictures. Most assembly problems arise from not scanning the QR code or skipping the actual instruction steps.

  • Panels and batons are numbered, and the cabinet assembly holes are pre-drilled. Pre-routed baton indents line up the panels.
  • What you need: wood glue (required on arcade kits), a screwdriver, and finishing supplies (light sandpaper, primer, paint, artwork). Dollhouse kits need only a rubber mallet plus wood glue.
  • Lost the sticker or can't scan the QR? Email sales@lep1customs.com with your order number and model and we'll send the correct guide link.

What are the dimensions of my cabinet for artwork?

Every product page lists the cabinet's interior width, exterior width, exterior height, and exterior depth. These overall measurements should provide a ballpark idea, although measuring by hand is suggested if exact measurements are required.

Do you have artwork templates?

While we have design and print services, we do not have templates for external use. That said, if you have your own artwork that you would like to put on our cabinet, we definitely can work with you. But as a policy, we do not provide templates.

Order custom artwork or send your own files at https://store.lep1customs.com/pages/custom-artwork, or email sales@lep1customs.com with your cabinet model and what you need.

How does custom artwork work, and how long does it take?

Email sales@lep1customs.com or use the form on https://store.lep1customs.com/pages/custom-artwork with your cabinet model and your design idea. We review the request, confirm your requirements, send an estimate, and invoice you. Once the invoice is paid, we design, print, and ship the artwork separately.

  • Turnaround: Artwork costs and time to ship can vary with our current work queue and the complexity of your request. If you have a deadline simply let us know when submitting the request.
  • Artwork is billed and shipped separately from cabinet orders.

How do I get help if I have a problem?

Email sales@lep1customs.com with your order number and a photo, or call 601-299-9334.

  • Typical reply times: We answer or return every call within 24 hours. Chats often get an instant reply to a few hours during the day; nights and weekends may add a few hours. Emails are usually answered within hours to 24 hours.
  • Problems with your order: Email sales@lep1customs.com with your order number and photos. We handle all of those issues and make sure you receive what you paid for.

How do kits ship?

We use FedEx as our primary carrier. FedEx does not deliver to PO, APO, or FPO boxes. Artwork orders ship separately. Typical ship time after order: just a few days.

HAPP or Sanwa — which kit do I order?

HAPP-style kits have cuts for HAPP joysticks and all 28mm buttons. Sanwa-style kits have cuts for Sanwa joysticks, 24mm coin/start buttons, and 30mm action buttons. "Sanwa ALL30" takes Sanwa joysticks with either all-28mm or all-30mm buttons. Full guide: https://store.lep1customs.com/pages/happ-vs-sanwa-styles
